That’s what awaits you on your tour across Bella Italia in Tuscany!

DAY 1| Florence – Volterra | 86 km

Hop on the bikes!

Buongiorno! After meeting your group, you will get to know your bike for the week, the M1 Spitzing Evolution. While test riding, you will be completely instructed and will get to know the ins and outs of these unique bikes.

Starting in Florence, we head southwest – purest Tuscany, on a route with lots of slopes and hills. The impressive skyline of San Gimignano appears on the horizon – a UNESCO world heritage. In the Middle Ages, 72 towers were built here, 15 of which still stand today.

We will take a break there and enjoy a short tour before riding on through the picturesque, hilly landscape to our destination for the day – Volterra. Thanks to the bikes’ strong 500 Wat motor, the only thing to steal our breath will be the stunning panoramic views (and not the challenging ascents).

DAY 2 | Volterra – Siena | 98 km

Chianti Classico

Riding eastward from Volterra, we reach the scenic town of Colle Val d’Elsa, situated in the Chianti Classico region. Weaving through this world-famous cultural landscape, with its vineyards and soft hills, we pass through the wine villages of Castellina and Radda, both situated in Chianti.  We turn South from there and reach the wonderful and lively Siena in the late afternoon.

Firstly, it’s off to the hotel, where our baggage is waiting for us. In the evening, we can take a leisurely stroll through the town’s old quarters and refill our energy reserves with delicious Tuscan specialities.

DAY 3 | Rest day in Siena

Your day in Siena

Discover Siena and its famous attractions. “The most beautiful Square in the world” – Piazzo del Campo, Cathedrals, museums, palaces. Explore, shop, eat. A whole day for whatever you want. If you need any tips or have any questions – simply ask your tour guide.

DAY 4 | Siena – Montepulciano | 78 km

Towards the Southeast

We leave Siena in a southerly direction at first, and ride on remote tracks to another famous wine town of Montalcino, home of the legendary Brunello di Montalcino. Riding through picturesque vineyards, we continue eastward to the UNESCO heritage town of Pienza. After a short sight-seeing tour, we head on to our destination for the day – Montepulciano, where we check into our hotel and go for dinner.

DAY 5 | Montepulciano – Arezzo | 79 km

Through the mountains

We start off riding towards the northeast on a diverse stretch, to Cortona. From here, our route takes us on a pretty challenging ascent through the mountains, almost to the border of Umbria, to Santa Maria alla Rassinata.

Now we ride northwest through the hilly landscape to Arrezo, where we reside for the night and enjoy a Tuscan meal with fine wine from the region (luckily for us, one of the best wine regions in the world).

DAY 6 | Arezzo – Florence | 94 km

The Final

From Arezzo we ride northwest over hill combs with great views through the nature park Le Balze to Regello. From there it goes through beautiful nature and varied topography to Vallombrosa.

Here we turn west and reach in the late afternoon our starting location and destination Florence. At a farewell dinner we review the many experiences and impressions of the last week.
